Tyler Arnason
Tyler
Arnason played for the Ft. Garry Twins in the 1991 Paul Bunyan
International Hockey Tournament. He played one outstanding year
with the Fargo-Moorhead Ice Sharks of the United States Hockey League
before playing three years for St. Cloud State University of the Western
Collegiate Hockey Association. At SCSU, Arnason was once selected
WCHA Rookie of the Week, 2-time player of the week, 98-99 WCHA
All-Rookie Team, 99-00 All-WCHA, 2001 WCHA Tourney MVP, and was member
of the 2001 St. Cloud State WCHA Final Five
Championship team. Arnason was selected in the seventh
round #183 overall by the Chicago Blackhawks in the 1998 NHL Entry
Draft. In his first full season with the Blackhawks, Arnason was
one of the top rookie scorers in the National Hockey League and was a
candidate for the Calder Trophy.
