2011 Schedule of Events



Thursday, December 29

7:00 pm to 10:00 pm Coaches/Managers Party, at the Holiday Inn Express.     Team Coaches, Managers, and spouses are invited to complimentary food and beverages.There will be a meeting and registration with a Q & A session following.  



Friday, December 30    

8:00 am - Teams report for Opening Ceremonies to the Sanford Center .    All teams must report with skates and jerseys, and will be given instructions as to procedures upon arrival. Please do not bring bags.


8:30 am - Opening Ceremonies at the Sanford Center.     The Opening Ceremonies include a bagpiper, Parade of Teams, National Anthems, a welcome by PBIHT Chair and guest speaker.


Root Beer Float Social.     Immediately following the Opening Ceremonies will be the Root Beer Float Social. Take time to get to know some new people, enjoy a free Root Beer Float. All teams and fans are encouraged to attend !

Game Schedule 11/12

12:00 pm to 2:15 pm Spaghetti Dinner, Bemidji Community Arena. Please bring a hockey size appetite. Players and Coaches eat free of charge. Also, the concession stand will have an assortment of other dinner options available. Come eat and then join the excitement of the Paul Bunyan Challenge!  


2:15 pm Paul Bunyan Skills Challenge sponsored by Powerade, Bemidji Community Arena.     The Paul Bunyan Skills Challenge sponsored by Powerade consists of three parts: a shootout and goalie competition that run simultaneously, and a fastest skater competition. Individual prizes will be awarded to the first and second place winners of each challenge. In addition, the first place winners will receive a treat for their entire team! Come support the players representing your team !
