Tournament
Mission The mission
of the tournament is to celebrate the excitement,
diversity, joy, and excellence that youth hockey has
to offer by bringing together the finest teams from
a variety of North American and International locations
into a premier tournament setting. Young hockey
players will be given a unique experience, exceptional
competition, and the ultimate challenge to be the
best. Through the tournament, we hope to promote youth
hockey in Bemidji, Minnesota, and bring the community
together in this celebration of hockey excellence.

Richard
Park
played in the First Annual Paul Bunyan International
Hockey Tournament in 1988 for the Los Angeles Junior Kings.
Park was one of the most outstanding players that year scoring
four goals in one game and leading the Junior Kings to the
championship. He currently plays in the NHL for the
Vancouver Canucks, has won the Bronze medal with Team USA
at the 2004 World Ice Hockey Championships in the Czech
Republic, and recently competed with Team USA in the 2005
World Championships in Austria.

Joe
Fallon, University of Vermont Congratulations
to Joe Fallon on receiving the 2005 ECAC Hockey League Rookie
of the Year Award and also being drafted in the 6th Round
167 overall by the Chicago Blackhawks. Fallon played
in the PBIHT in 1997 for host team Bemidji. He competed
in the USHL with Rochester and Cedar Rapids before his rookie
season with the University of Vermont Catamounts.
In his rookie season, Fallon helped lead his team to the
ECACHL Semi-Finals for the first time since 1996 by recording
17 wins, .921 Save %, 5 shutouts, and a 1.96 Goals Against
Average (8th place nationally.)
