What
Coaches and Managers say about the Paul Bunyan International Tournament:
- I have been to tournaments in Canada, Lake Placid and throughout
New England. This tournament was by far the most impressive and
well
organized. The tournament committee treated us like one of the
family/ Rich Poirier, Pee Wee Rep Wausau Wisconsin Warjacks
~ I always think about the kids, and during the entire Paul Bunyan
International Hockey Tournament our kids felt like they were special,
almost like they were playing in the High School State Tournament.
It all started when pulling in to town you saw welcome signs from
all of the businesses and it didnt end until we were out
of Bemidji on our way home. Thanks for the great experience!!
Dustin Vogelgesang, Hastings A Peewees Head Coach
~ BEST RUN TOURNEY I HAVE EVER BEEN TO PERIOD!!! Tim Nies,
Grand Forks, Manager
~ Great Experience! Memories that will last forever in our young
athletes minds! My son and I had the best experience in his hockey
carrier.
Peggy Olivas, Dallas Texas Ice Hawks, Pee Wee AA
~ This was a top shelf hockey tournament that offered fabulous
extra experiences for the players. The team and families loved
the opening ceremony and the curling demonstration. The organization
and extras truly make this a one of a kind tournament. Everyone
had a wonderful time. Ann Kegley, Mahtomedi Manager
~ A class act through and through. For me this will be an every
year event. The opening ceremonies in the BSU rink was amazing.
The city of Bemidji is by far one of the most beautiful in the
state of Minnesota. Craig Brown, Armstrong Coach
~ From start to finish, outstanding hockey environment for teams,
players, parents and communities involved. Todd Thompson, Devils
Lake, ND Coach
~ Wonderfully organized tournament. Guy Clairmont, Grand Rapids

~ I want to thank you all for putting on a world class tournament.
Overall we were all very impressed. Our Rochester teams have been
to many tournaments before - there is nothing like what you guys
put on for this one... this made the nearly 6 hour drive up there
worth it - Chip Applegath, Manager Rochester Pee Wee A
~ Great hockey and a lot of Fun. Loren Meyer, Wadena Coach
~ 3 days of being totally absorbed in some of the finest hockey
tradition anywhere. Participating with teams of some of the best
players of that age, the BSU hockey tradition, Mr. Verchota, visiting
with hockey people from all over - and lots of hockey to play
and watch.
Matt Najjar, Wadena Coach
